Double Feature by Philip Differ
Produced by Gilded Balloon, Edinburgh’s favourite comedy double act, Andy Gray and Grant Stott, were back in a new play written by Only an Excuse’s Phil Differ. Gray and Stott play two old pals granted their dream job cleaning out an old cinema. In the process of stirring memories and recreating scenes from favourite movies, the two friends’ shared fanaticism for film soon makes way for bigger issues that have long remained unresolved. Gray and Stott won a prestigious Fringe First with Kiss Me Honey, Honey! (2013).
Directed by Ryan Dewar. We also created all of the video marketing and sound design for the show at the festival and 2018 Scottish theatre tour.
“Belly laughs along the way as we would expect from these two and the hour flashes by and lapped up by the many fans.”

British theatre guide ★★★★
“Ryan Dewar’s production builds in enough gaps to allow the performers to occasionally break the fourth wall, ad lib, corpse and even indulge The performance is an odd hybrid of play, panto and extended sketch show that nonetheless makes the best possible use of the double act’s talents and performing chemistry.”
“A master class in comic timing, Director Ryan Dewar, knows exactly how to get the best out of them and this deserves to be a sell-out show as it probably is already.”
“One of those priceless comic partnerships, never to be missed.”
